Hydraulic and Pneumatic Test Benches
The HPU is fully customizable to meet specific requirements for any cylinder size, including desired pressure and flow ranges.
Filtration Heating/Cooling

To maintain optimal oil cleanliness, the HPU-XX includes three filtration systems. Firstly, there is a high-pressure filter with a 10-micron rating located after the main pump. Secondly, there are return line filters with a 5-micron rating situated between cylinder ports A&B and the tank. Lastly, there is a kidney loop system with 3-micron filters. The HPU also comes equipped with a heat exchanger that can maintain the oil temperature within a range of +/- 20 degrees Fahrenheit. The heat exchanger heats and cools as necessary to ensure precise control over the required operating temperature.
Particle Counter

The HPU has an “MP Filtri” ECM particle counter that measures the ISO level of oil contamination (ISO4406 or NAS 1638). Additionally, the device also measures temperature and water content. These readings are displayed on the main test stand screen through the CYL.PRO software and can be added to the test report.
Laser Positioning System

The HPU has a laser system that measures the piston stroke and position precisely with an accuracy of +/- 1 mm.
The Pneumatics
By simply pressing a button, the Hydraulic power unit can be converted into pneumatic testing mode. This mode allows for the control of pneumatic cylinder testing through the same PMI. The pneumatic tests that are available but not limited to include leakage and cycle air tests, with adjustable pressures of up to 290 psi. The user can enter testing parameters directly on the screen and observe them in real-time. The results of the testing are automatically generated in a testing report.
Air Testing System

The device depicted in this image from “ForTest” will be employed to perform pressure and leakage checks on pneumatic cylinders in our testing process. It has been seamlessly integrated into the bench assembly control and software system. The resulting test data and outcomes will be comprehensively documented in the generated report. The pneumatic cylinders can be installed on the bench in the same way as hydraulic ones, and the cylinder rod can move in both directions.
Air Compressor Unit

We offer an additional compressor unit with a capacity of 250 liters (66 Gallons) and a maximum pressure of 290 psi. It comes equipped with an electro-control valve that regulates the airflow and pressure. The control valves are linked to the PLC. You can view the air pressure and flow on the screen, and the results of pneumatic testing can be included in the test report, similar to hydraulic testing.
Bar Code Readers and Serialization

Option for using a Bluetooth barcode reader to scan the barcode on cylinders and upload required assembly and testing data automatically. This feature can help to save time and minimize errors that may occur when entering cylinder serial numbers manually into the software. This add-on feature is only available for cylinders that are identified with a barcode printed on them.

An additional feature the swing-type marker that can create a barcode on the cylinder surface and connect it to the Software automatically. This marking system is handy as it saves time and reduces errors in cylinder identification and marking. It is essential to add the identification number to the cylinder surface once assembly and testing on the bench are complete, before moving the cylinder away.
Interface for the HPU

The hydraulics and pneumatics test has a dedicated HMI with a variety of buttons that allow for easy running and monitoring of cylinder testing. In addition, there is an interactive touchscreen where users can enter testing parameters and view test results.
The HMI for the HPU utilizes our proprietary CylPro software, which was designed specifically for this purpose. This user-friendly software also runs on the same Siemens platform and is Windows-based.
Users can input parameters easily through the touchscreen and are guided through the testing process with interactive schematic and cylinder visual features. The testing parameters, including pressures at port A&B, pressure differential, position, and speed, are monitored in real time and these testing channels can be selected and plotted over time.
Data files can be saved wirelessly to the company network or connected directly to a PC. After completing the test, users can generate a report and save it in both Excel and PDF formats on the network.
